To the first blog posting for our 2009 mainstage production, after homelessness...!
We are very excited to announce that pre-production is underway. The interviews for workshop participants and cast members were terrific; so many strong, amazing people came out. David and the participants go into the workshop next week and then it's 5 weeks (!!) until we're in the Firehall.
Time has flown by.
Check back soon for our announcement of the 9 photo contest finalist that will join Donna Ross at Gallery Gachet November 6 to 29 for a group show with PIVOT and Oppenheimer Park!

- Headlines Theatre
- Founded in 1981, Vancouver's Headlines Theatre, directed by David Diamond, uses THEATRE FOR LIVING to help living communities tell their stories. THEATRE FOR LIVING has evolved from Augusto Boal's "Theatre of the Oppressed". Since 1989 Headlines' work has slowly moved away from the binary language and model of "oppressor/oppressed" and now approaches community-based cultural work from a systems-based perspective; understanding that a community is a complexly integrated, living organism.
